Chulalongkorn University continues to promote the translation of knowledge and research into real-world applications by showcasing its research and innovations at IP × Venture RISE Thailand 2026, a major intellectual property event aimed at driving Thai businesses toward the future. The event was held from 27–29 August 2026 at IMPACT Exhibition Hall 8, Muang Thong Thani.
At the event, Chulalongkorn University presented six high-potential research and innovation projects spanning HealthTech, AI-Driven Technology, and GreenTech, including:
- DeepGI – Technology for medical diagnosis
- OA-SILK – An injectable hydrogel integrated with SilkLife technology
- sPace – A dynamic prosthetic foot designed to enhance mobility
- Wearable Walking Assist Robot – A technology supporting independent walking, equipped with an automatic sit-to-stand assistance system and convertible into an electric wheelchair
- Senovate AI – Digital technology designed to enhance dairy cattle production efficiency
- Cellogum™ – Transforming biological waste into an innovative food additive solution
Another highlight of the event was the success of “FungiCare Thailand,” a research team from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Navaporn Worasilchai, a lecturer in the Department of Transfusion Medicine and related fields. The team received two national awards: First Runner-Up and the Popular Vote Award.
This achievement reflects the potential of Chulalongkorn University’s researchers and innovations to move beyond the laboratory and create tangible value and real-world impact. It also aligns with the concept of “Research to Impact,” which focuses on translating research into practical applications and creating opportunities for further development and commercialization.
