JUMP THAILAND Hackathon 2026 Regional Bootcamp for Central Thailand Held at Chulalongkorn University

The JUMP THAILAND Hackathon 2026: Regional Bootcamp for Central Thailand was held on 15 August 2026 at Chulalongkorn University, providing a platform for students and young innovators to develop and present ideas in Artificial Intelligence (AI) aimed at creating innovative solutions that expand opportunities and strengthen the skills of both learners and educators in an inclusive and equitable way.

The event was supported by Assistant Professor Dr. Narapong Srivisal, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs , who coordinated the event, and officially opened by Assistant Professor Dr. Thititip Tippayamontri, Director of the Chulalongkorn University Innovation Hub (CU Innovation Hub).

Throughout the bootcamp, participants worked on developing their ideas and presenting their projects, with experts from the innovation and AI communities sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and serving as judges for the regional competition. The event featured Mr. Sanamchai Pandee, Senior Innovation Counsellor, Startup Promotion Department, National Innovation Agency (NIA), and Assistant Professor Dr. Nongnuch Ketui, Vice President of the Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT) and Head of the Super AI Engineer Project.

The bootcamp provided an important opportunity for young innovators to strengthen their AI capabilities through hands-on experience, receive guidance from industry experts, and further develop their ideas into innovative solutions with real-world potential.

As part of the competition, 30 teams advancing to the Semi-Final – Virtual Pitching round were scheduled to be announced on 18 August 2026, with a total prize pool of more than THB 220,000, along with opportunities to further develop their ideas and turn them into practical solutions.

The JUMP THAILAND Hackathon 2026 serves as another important platform for young people to develop their AI capabilities, create innovative solutions, and contribute to shaping a more inclusive and equitable future for education.
