
CU Innovation Hub (CUiHub) joined TECHSAUCE GLOBAL SUMMIT 2026, held from 26–28 August 2026 at the QSNCC – Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, as part of Chulalongkorn University’s presence at the event. Across three days, the CUiHub booth served as a platform for showcasing innovation, technology, and startups while connecting researchers, entrepreneurs, startups, investors, and the wider innovation ecosystem.
Day 1 | Startup Pitching
The first day featured a Startup Pitching Session, providing an opportunity for startups to present their ideas and business potential while exchanging perspectives with experts from the startup and venture capital communities.
Participating startups included MUU (CVD Corp), Moment of Youth (M.O.Y.), Beauty Plant Laboratory, LOCOL, and LIVVELL. The session was joined by Sean Makulowich, Founder & CEO, IdeaFire, and Mahir Iskender, Founder & CEO, KNDR Ventures, who shared insights and feedback with the participating teams.
Day 2 | Building Innovation Partnerships
Day 2 highlighted collaboration and ecosystem building through the session “From Benchmark to Blueprint: Shaping Thailand’s Innovation Districts,” featuring Assistant Professor Dr. Thititip Tippayamontri , Director of CU Innovation Hub, who shared perspectives on the development of Innovation Districts and Thailand’s Innovation Ecosystem.
The day also featured an MOU Signing Ceremony with key ecosystem partners, including Singapore Management University (SMU), True Digital Park (TDPK), and Techsauce, aimed at strengthening collaboration and creating new opportunities in innovation and startups. The ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Rungsun Rerknimitr, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University.
Another highlight was CU-i Accelerate Demo Day 2026, where startups took the stage to pitch their ideas and business potential through Pitching & Q&A sessions. Participating teams included InnoPhytoTech, Algae Deep Tech, FlowR, Adsist Innovation Co., Ltd., RIFFAI, and Harsen AI.
Day 3 | From University to Global Opportunities
The final day continued to bring together members of the innovation and startup ecosystem. CUiHub welcomed Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat , Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) of Thailand , who visited the Chulalongkorn University booth and engaged with researchers and startups.
The day also featured the session “Global, Fast, Human: The Founder’s Playbook for the Next Decade,” moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Thitthip Tipmontree, with Sean Makulowich and Mahir Iskender sharing perspectives on the future of startups and the evolving role of founders.
This was followed by “A University’s Model for Growing Startups,” which explored how universities can support and accelerate startup growth. The session was moderated by Mr. Anakorn Baimongkol, Community Lead, Techstars Thailand, with perspectives from Assistant Professor Dr. Thititip Tipmontree, Professor Dr. Suchada Sukrong, Executive Director of BAScii, Chulalongkorn University, and Assistant Professor Dr. Pichaya In-na, Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University and Co-Founder & CTO of Algae Deep Tech Co., Ltd.
Over three days, the CUiHub booth became a space for Innovation, Connection & Opportunity, bringing together diverse communities to exchange ideas, build relationships, and explore new possibilities.
